Camino Trip Pictures

Three weeks ago a group from our church here, Vida Nueva, walked the Camino for 2 days. I blogged about
it right after it happened, but since I hadn’t brought our camera I didn’t have any pictures. Well, here are a few pictures that our friend Ellen took. Thanks, Ellen!

The picture below is of an oat field in the beautiful countryside of Galicia, the “state” in which the cities of La Coruña and Santiago de Compostela are located:

Here’s me from behind, on the left:

A man dressed in a very traditional pilgrim’s robe – they would have worn these centuries ago while walking the Camino:

This field has 4 scarecrows in it – 4!! It’s probably not funny to the farmer that he needs that many, but we found it amusing:

Our group in front of the pensión we stayed in  – Vicky, me, Nubia, Dani, Amado, Ellen, and Sarah. Miguel, Dani’s father, is taking the picture:

We made it! Our group in front of the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela – Ellen, me, Dani, Vicky, Nubia, Sarah, Miguel:

So jealous am I! I am adding this to do on my “to do before I die” list right behind “Tour/visit Hong Kong with Sharon.” 8/25/2008
